Something to Wine About is a self-service wine bar that celebrates diversity and community in an enriching wine experience. Located in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC)’s 4th & Race development, this 3,580-square-foot space features self-pour wine machines in addition to a full-service bar.
Triversity Craft Force (TCF), serving as the general contractor for the project, completed a full design build of hvac, plumbing, and electric. We coordinated with the architect to provide custom designed metal shelving at the bar integrated with LED lights. Hand built banquettes that lead up to a performance stage which uses a custom sound system and light display.
The new wine bar will offer more than just drinks. The concept will also feature light bites, host a book club and regular events, including musical performances, and even offer a Wine-O’ membership program with exclusive perks and discounts.
Owner Lando Chapman also envisions using the venue as a platform to highlight African American and other minority-owned winemakers. The bar joins LoVe Nightclub, Pars Baguette and bb.q. currently at the 4th and Race development.
