Cincinnati Children's B3 Periop Phase 3A

This phase of the B3 Periop Renovation project at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital consisted of a complete demolition of the existing Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and support rooms, while keeping multiple existing operating rooms and PACU bays operational. Working in an occupied space, the construction team successfully added 40 new PACU bays, with 5 private bays, support rooms, a new HUC station, and implemented key upgrades to the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler, and telecom systems.

These renovations aim to improve the hospital’s perioperative services, creating a contemporary and efficient environment for patients and staff alike. The completion of the master plan is scheduled for May 2025.
