Cincinnati Children's B3 Hybrid OR

Complete renovation of Operating Rooms 1 and 2 as well as reworking existing and installing new overhead to accommodate for new rapid heating and cooling system. All construction performed after standard operating hours allowing adjacent ORs and high traffic areas to remain fully functional.

In the hybrid OR, there was a conversion of storage room into the country’s first Azurion hybrid operating room. The hybrid OR allows ultrasound, CT guidance and live x-ray imaging procedures to be available during surgical procedures reducing the risk of complications and saving time and money.
