TriVersity participates in TeenWorks Career Fair in Indy for second year

TriVersity’s Indianapolis office participated in the second annual TeenWorks Career Exploration Fair. The event took place at the Indiana State Fair Farm Bureau Building with over 170 teens in attendance. Volunteer companies hosted booths and spoke with teens about careers paths in multiple fields. TriVersity’s Indianapolis Project Executive Akilah Darden was on hand to talk with with students about careers in construction.

TeenWorks was started in 1981 by Marianne Glick as a program to provide young, at-risk teens with a summer employment opportunity that would teach them the importance of self-discipline, a hard day’s work, and giving back to the community. TeenWorks continues to build upon this founding vision by advancing our mission “to empower teens to achieve excellence in college, career, and community.”
