Six Employees Receive Promotions at TriVersity Construction

TriVersity Construction is pleased to announce the promotion of the following employees:

Alison Thoms – Human Resources Manager

Rachel Bartels – Senior Project Manager

Drew Scherpenberg – Senior Project Manager

Armon Porter – Project Manager

Anthony Kahny –  Project Manager

Steven Wheelright – Senior Project Engineer

Alison Thoms started her career with TriVersity three years ago as human resources coordinator. She has a B.A. in political science from University of Georgia. As HR manager, she will continue to improve TriVersity’s human resources infrastructure, particularly in the areas of payroll and benefits. Thoms also plays a key role in the company’s recruiting process.

Rachel Bartels has been with TriVersity for almost two years as a project manager. She received a B.S. in construction management and has 20 years’ experience in construction.  Her responsibilities as senior project manager include project team oversight; overall responsibility for budget; schedule, safety, and quality; site logistics and preconstruction planning; owner communication; subcontractor coordination; close-out coordination; financial forecasting and cost reporting.

Drew Scherpenberg joined TriVersity in 2013 as a project manager. He holds a B.S. degree in construction management and A.S. in construction technologies. As senior project manager, he is responsible for project team oversight; overall responsibility for budget; schedule, safety, and quality; site logistics and preconstruction planning; owner communication; subcontractor coordination; close-out coordination; financial forecasting and cost reporting.

Armon Porter is a 2010 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering with five years’ experience in the construction industry. Porter joined TriVersity in 2010 as a project engineer and recently relocated to help launch the company’s Indianapolis office. His responsibilities as project manager include project team oversight; overall responsibility for budget; schedule, safety, and quality; owner communication; subcontractor coordination; close-out coordination; and financial forecasting. He is also a member of the National Society of Black Engineers.

Anthony Kahny joined TriVersity in 2013 as a project engineer. A graduate of University of Cincinnati with a B.S. degree in architectural engineering technology, Kahny has worked in the construction industry for seven years. As project manager, he is responsible for project team oversight; overall responsibility for budget, schedule, safety and quality; owner communication; subcontractor coordination; close-out coordination and financial forecasting.

Steven Wheelright joined TriVersity in 2013 as a project engineer after graduating from the University of Cincinnati with B.S. degrees in construction management and architectural engineering technology and is currently pursuing PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification. His duties as senior project engineer include document control, site layout, safety management support, daily huddle/tool box talk, planning and facilitation and schedule support. Wheelright is an AIA (American Institute of Architects) member and active community volunteer.
